Dillon Keck knew
Ashlyn Mayson was drunk when she suggested they get married. He knew he should
have taken her back to their hotel room and put her to bed. Instead, he did
what he had been craving to do since the moment they met.
Claim her as his.
Waking up married in
Vegas isn't something Ashlyn Mayson ever thought would happen to her. Having
Dillon, her boss, a man she thinks is a dick, insist they stay married is
absurd, but every time he touches her, she gets lost in him and wonders if
maybe they are meant to be together.
But someone isn't
happy for Dillon and Ashlyn and their new found romance, and they're willing to
do anything to keep them apart. Even commit murder.
This is another great addition to the Until Her series. Ashlyn and Dillon have an interesting chemistry as soon as they meet. It’s almost like a love/hate relationship. Plus, Dillon is her boss, so there is that roadblock.
On a trip to Vegas for a work convention, Ashlyn gets so pissed at Dillon that she warns him, she’s going to get wasted. The next morning, when she wakes up, Ashlyn has a whole new reality. There is a ring on her finger and a man that is insisting they stay married.
The sexual tension between these two is
intense. I can tell they both want each other, but Ashlyn has no idea until
that morning they wake up in Vegas. While I didn’t realize Dillon always wanted
her, I knew the moment they were married, he was never letting go of her. While
as confused as Ashlyn was, we get a little glimpse in to Dillon’s head and see
how much he loves her.
I did want to punch
a couple people in the face for continuing to interfere in their relationship and
when the murders start happening, I couldn’t help feeling these incidents were
somewhat connect. I was surprised when the twist was revealed and there were
some particular intense scenes where I had to read until the next chapter, just
to see what happens.
I love Aurora’s writing
and whenever a new book of hers comes out, I know it’s going to be a good one.
She is definitely a “go to” author.
The final book in the bestselling,
She’s the heart of O’Kane liquor.
For years, Nessa has been focused on work. She
keeps the whiskey—and the money—flowing, and life is sweet. Sure, she’s tired
of being everyone’s baby sister, and she longs for a man who can stand up to
her overprotective O’Kane brothers. But she never thought she’d meet him in the
middle of a war.
He’s the brains of the revolution.
War is all Ryder knows. He was raised with one
goal: to ensure the sectors’ successful rebellion against Eden. His father and
his mentor both died for freedom, and nothing will stop him from securing their
legacies with victory. He doesn’t have time for distractions—especially
beautiful, impulsive ones like Nessa.
Opposites don’t just attract, they combust.
Together, Nessa and Ryder have a chance for something more than the lives
they’ve always known. But this is war—deadly, bloody war—and the only way to
happily-ever-after is straight through Eden.
I love all that the
O’Kanes stands for. If there was any post-apocalyptic world to live in, I would
want to be in theirs, to be an O’Kane. Their
love and loyalty for each other is everything!
Beyond Surrender is a great finale
to the Beyond Series.
Nessa and Ryder’s
story is excellent. I love the way Kit writes her characters. I really feel
like I’m in their heads and I can feel their emotions. Nessa and Ryder are both
strong individuals with powerful convictions. That may not work for some, but
it sizzles between these two. I love that we get to see all the characters of
sector 4 and peek in to each of their lives, where they are at and how they are
It’s war time and
the sectors are losing people left and right, some of them hitting a bit close
to home (I was really choked up). It definitely isn’t pretty, but it’s riveting.
I was rooting for the sectors and hoping they found a way to overcome Eden. This
book definitely answers your questions and gives you closure about how the
revolution went down.
I once read that every warrior hoped an honorable death would
find him. I always went looking for mine, but not even the Reaper wanted me.
I was trained to kill. I was trained to not ask why. To take orders and just
march in line. Hooah motherfucker.
Life or death.
Ride or die.
And I’m not only talking about the military. I’m talking about the life that
led me on the road to nowhere.
I fought for my brothers.
I fought for my family.
I fought for my country.
And I fought for her…
Never realizing I might die for them too.
I love M’s writing.
It took me a minute to really dive in to Road to nowhere, because, well, life
happens. But here I am kicking myself for waiting so long. Who really needs
sleep anyway? Road to Nowhere is another great addition to M’s work. Its
gritty, raw and angsty...exactly what we come to expect from our girl.
Creed! Gah, Creed!
He made me so mad with his assholey (yes that is a word) ways but I loved him
anyway. He’s sexy, but he’s also lost. His emotions have been stripped from him
and I absolutely hate, hate his father. The pressure and demands that his
father put on him broke him at an early age and just made him a shell of a man.
Couple that with two other tragedies in his life and I wasn’t sure if he would
come back from that.
Ryder changed that for him. Creed didn’t realize that at first and it hit him
hard after it was possibly too late. All Mia wanted was to be a normal
teenager. Go to parties, date or have a boyfriend. With her dad and uncles,
that was not happening. She was sheltered and just waiting to break out.
Mia’s crush on
Creed may have started as a crush, but it developed in to so much more, but
that was all crushed when she decided to be that normal teenager. When she thought
it was time men saw her as a woman, when Creed always treated her as more than
a kid. All the while this was happening, she only thought of Creed. That’s when
I realized just how deep and in love she was with him.
was rocky, but you could feel how much they cared about each other. I thought
the drama and angst would surely destroy them. The family relationship was
something unconventional and definitely a new dynamic. I wasn’t sure how they
would get past that.
And then, there
was the Cliffy…Why, M? Why?!? I know you said we won’t have to wait long but I
don’t want to wait. I want it now. Ugh!! Here I sit twiddling my thumbs.
You've seen the
headlines: Womanizing billionaire player! Watch out! Stay away!
We were just two strangers. Facing a forbidden attraction, a chemical
connection. Neither of us expected or wanted it to amount to more.
But I had never been drawn to a guy the way I was drawn to this one: my
brother's best friend, and CEO of the company where I interned.
Even knowing I should stay away, I proved to be too human, after all.
The chemistry was amazing.
The laughs were incredible.
I opened up to him in more ways than I'd opened up to anyone before.
But sex was as far as I'd go.
Just sex because he was too irresistible.
Just sex because I wouldn't be falling for him.
Just sex because I'd leave in three months, and I'd like for my brother not to
kill me, and for nobody to find out he was my wicked little secret.
He wasn't the One.
He was just a womanizer.
But for a time, he would be mine.
I love Katy Evans
writing. When she has a new book release, you drop everything to pick it up.
Her writing is flawless and smooth. Womanizer is another great addition to her
So this is the
first of the Manwhore series that I was able to read. ::Hangs head in shame::
But I am a huge fan of Katy’s from the Real series, so I had to check it out. I
mean, hot billionaire CEO and the best-friend’s baby sister…What’s not to love?
This is a forbidden love story at its finest.
I love Livvy’s determination to be a hard working girl and to
shun all the stereotypes of the beautiful blonde bombshell. She wants to work
hard and prove herself. While having that single-minded focus, a coincidental
meeting on a terrace makes her think that maybe a little one-night stand won’t
deter her intention. What she wasn’t ready for was the sparks and the sizzle
between her and this gorgeous man.
Callan is never wowed by women. He smart, strong, sexy and a
billionaire. He could have his pick of whomever, but Olivia just keeps
surprising him. He can’t get over this new addiction with her. He sees as more
than just sex, but realizes, this is his best friend’s baby sister. She’s
off-limits. But he can’t resist.
This story was hot, steamy and every sort of yummy. It was
fun, exciting and the chemistry was off the charts. This gave me all the feels
and I absolutely loved it.
