It has been a while since I read a BDSM story and I enjoyed Ben and Anne’s story. While Ben is not into being a slave 24/7, his love for Anne will have him doing anything for her. The fact that they have both served in the Military is a major turn on. The fact that they can understand and relate to each other is even better.

They both have had their own issues that they have had to deal with (PTSD for Ben and Anne having a childhood where she constantly moved around) and where Ben would wear his heart on his sleeve, Anne has been more reserved. The love and support from all the friends in the Shadowlands is just what the couple needs to get through their own Master/Slave dynamic. Will they work it out?? You’ll have to read to find out.

What Tristan finally realizes is that he could have hurt Ireland, like his uncle used to hurt him and he stops drinking, cold turkey.

After the initial withdrawals, Tristan starts to hang with Ireland and they start to form a bond. Only finding out after he has started to fall for her, she is to be married to another man. (No spoiler on who that other man is, but you have to read so you can find out!!) Seriously, that still happens in this day-in-age?? Ireland’s family is in some kind of debt she doesn’t know about and all Tristan wants to do is save her, but she has to stick up for herself first.

I loved this twist on the story of Tristan from the Arthurian Legends. The pure chaos at the end of this book has me thirsting for more. ::Spoiler Alert:: Arturo’s re-appearance, Guinevere’s response, the Nights new album, Lansing’s new baby and Tristan’s baby….Holy Hell we’re in for a wild ride!!

I enjoyed Emma and Aiden…I mean Wrath’s story. They are both stubborn and strong willed, which causes a few waves, but makes the makeup sex that much more HOT! I also like that we get to see Rage and Layla again and see more in to the Fire and Steel MC.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I heard this was fan fiction of the Legend of King Arthur, but LB Dunbar did a fantastic job transforming the characters in to a rock band and completely immersing them into the music business.

Arturo and Guinevere’s story is one of lust, love, happiness and tragedy. While Guinevere watched Arturo for a long time, being the daughter of the Leo Degrance, who owned the bar where The Nights got their start, Arturo doesn’t really “notice” Guinevere until one night she is in the crowd in a gorgeous floor length white dress. He is enamored with her and has to find out who she is.

When they begin start to spend time together, they both fall fast and hard. Unfortunately, Arturo has been around and has a bit of a shady past that it causes Guinevere’s jealously to flare, yet Guinevere has some secrets she hasn’t told Arturo. This was an emotional rollercoaster with some hot sex, secrets, tons of angst and one of the biggest cliffhangers I have ever read. Not for the faint at heart…..but so good.

I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book!! I couldn’t stop talk about Luc and Lulu’s story with my friends. I was sucked in from the first chapter and couldn’t put it down. This is definitely one story of second chances, emotional roller coasters and angst that you do not want to miss!!

Luc Le Grand…. I mean what else is there to say, but WOW! He’s sexy, confident, and just one HOT alpha!! When Luc Le Grand knows what he wants, he gets it. Period. When he sees Lulu McQueen in the club in Paris, he sets sights on having her for the evening. When she refuses his initial attempt, he tries to woo her, which he never does. There’s something about Lulu that gets under his skin and he will do whatever he has to, to have her….the first time they meet and when they are re-connected.

Lulu McQueen is one kickass woman. Strong, independent and beautiful, Lulu tends to fall too quickly and tries to protect herself from Luc’s advances. She knows he’s a man that she would not be able to get over. After giving him a chance and having the best day ever in Paris, they have one night of steamy, hot, off-the-charts sex. By the next morning Lulu knows she has some strong feelings for Luc and flees before he wakes up. Finally, when she gets the courage to call him, she realizes she’s lost his number.

The way these two re-connect is set up by none other than Luc’s wife….Yes, people I said wife. But we soon find out that neither Luc or Lulu is over each other. Even though Luc has not strayed from his wife for the 5 years they’ve been married, Luc would for Lulu (especially since Luc has not had sex in 5 years. Holy self control!!). Lulu is not ready to be with Luc until she knows the truth of why his wife has hired her to lure him in to an affair and until she can tell Luc a secret that she has kept for 6 years.

Luc and Lulu’s chemistry is off the charts HOT! He’s an alpha who knows what he likes and demands control. Lulu loves to relinquish that control to Luc, which causes for some steamy, fast and hard sessions in the sheets. Cannot wait for “All That Glisters.”
