A Thousand Boy Kisses ~ Tillie Cole

One kiss lasts a moment.
But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.

One boy.
One girl.
A bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade.
A bond that neither time nor distance can break.
A bond that will last forever.
Or so they believe.
When seventeen-year-old Rune Kristiansen returns from his native Norway to the sleepy town of Blossom Grove, Georgia, where he befriended Poppy Litchfield as a child, he has just one thing on his mind. Why did the girl who was one half of his soul, who promised to wait faithfully for his return, cut him off without a word of explanation?
Rune’s heart was broken two years ago when Poppy fell silent. When he discovers the truth, he finds that the greatest heartache is yet to come.

Standalone Young Adult Tearjerker Romance.
For ages 14 and up.

I can't even begin to say how amazing this book was. Life-altering, inspiring and uplifting are a few words that come to mind. This book completely filled my heart and was a total ugly-cry. Absolutely loved it!!

Rune Kristiansen is the ultimate book-boyfriend. I want to leave this review spoiler free, but I will say that quiet boy was loyal and was way stronger than he gave himself credit for. He went through things that adults have difficulty dealing with, let alone a hormonal teenage boy. But Rune was not your typical teenage boy. I love Rune!!!

Poppy Litchfield is an amazing, strong and beautiful young woman. Always the girl on the adventure, she doesn’t let anything slow her down. She found her very own Viking in Rune and never looked back. She thought of everyone, but herself. Poppy is selfless, loving and just a gorgeous person inside and out.

"Poppy and Rune for Infinity"

These two characters filled my heart, “it almost burst.” There is not a rating high enough to really convey how amazing A Thousand Boy Kisses is. Tillie Cole outdid herself!

Undo Me (The Good Ol' Boys #3) ~ M. Robinson

I fell in love with her when I was seventeen.

She brought me to my knees when I was twenty.
I loved her against reason.
I loved her against hope.
I loved her against all odds.
Now she's back, a constant reminder of what I lost, what could have been.
I hate her.
I resent her.
I still love her.
Can I forgive her...
Will she be my end once again or my beginning?

I cannot begin to describe the roller coaster I was just on. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. The overwhelming love that Aubrey and Dylan had…..I just can’t get over all they went though. Their story gutted me.

I have completely fallen for Dylan-Fucking-McGraw. Yes, I know he is a fictional character, but I don’t care. I wish there were more men in the world like him. Yes, he’s an asshole, but he’s Aubrey’s asshole. But he’s also so much more. He’s a good man. A real man. One that I wish didn’t get his heart broken over and over and over again.

I was so angry for them. I was hurt for Aubrey and felt for her and Dylan, but anger coursed through my veins. All I wanted Aubrey to do was fight, get help, and see what she had in front of her. But she couldn’t…and for good reason. I get that and I can’t even imagine what she went through, but I just wanted so much for them. Dylan and Aubrey deserved a good life, because they were amazing people. It just breaks my heart that their chance was taken away. In a blink of an eye, everything changed.

I am so emotionally spent and exhausted. I felt like I went through all their turmoil and pain with them. M. Robinson did an amazing job of making you feel like you were a part of these character’s lives. To be inside their heads, know their feelings, their hurt and their pain. Dylan and Aubrey’s story is amazing. Make no mistake, its gut wrenching, but it is still amazing. Dylan has become my favorite Good ‘Ol Boy and has stolen mine and many other reader’s hearts. I thought I knew what to expect, but I really had no idea.

"You make life, Aubrey, it doesn't make you." ~Dylan

Undeniable (The Key West Series #4) ~ C.A. Harms

Amazon US:  http://amzn.to/1NOd4T1
Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/1LQC3mi

Sometimes in life you are forced to do things you may not agree with.

Family meant everything to Jude Calvert.

He would do whatever it took to keep them safe and provide for them no matter what it took to make that happen.

Even if that meant putting his own safety at risk, he had no other choice.

Callie Raine has always felt a heavy attraction toward Jude.

He was fascinating.

He was undeniable.

She knew there was so much more to him than he allowed anyone to see. But she was a headstrong woman and feeling weak was something she wouldn’t allow.

Except when it came to Jude.

However, when Jude is hit with the unexpected and forced to rely on others, Callie realizes he doesn’t take weakness easily.

He becomes even more withdrawn.

More angry.

Will he finally give in and learn to lean on those who care?

Or will he push them beyond the point of no return and once again be left to face his obstacles alone?
Jude…Broody, moody, rude Jude. He’s hot, sexy and a complete ass. But once I realize what he’s dealing with and what he has been dealing with at home, it make total sense. He tries to keep everyone away because he does not want them to feel obligated to help him.

Callie has been crazy about Jude for a very long time. Working together at the restaurant, she experiences the mood swings and short answers Jude doles out so no one really gets to know him. As infuriating as he is, she still wants him. Callie has a huge heart and when she learns of how much help he need, she drops everything to provider for his sick sister and her two kids.

Callie is easy to love and Jude’s sister, niece and nephew immediately fall for her. Despite knowing Jude will be angry with her and give her attitude, she doesn’t leave his house and continues to care for his family, refusing anyone who comes to try to relieve her. Jude finally lets his walls come down and he is just…Wow. He’s a completely different person. The kind and gentle words he says to Callie surprise her, as well as me.

Jude’s a great man, who did whatever he could to support his family. When his friends make it impossible for him not to open up and let down his walls, he becomes the man we only see glimpses of in the beginning of the story. He’s sweet, caring and he has a huge heart. One that he can share with Callie.

I love this series and all of C.A. Harms’ work. Undeniable is a great addition!

Complicate Me (The Good Ol' Boys Series #1) ~ M. Robinson

Amazon US / UK

 photo Synopsis_zpshy1vcpnk.png
It was complicated, it was also just the beginning.

A decision.

A simple choice.
There is always that one moment in life where things could have been different. That one moment where you could have chosen a path that would lead you down a certain road.
A different life.
It was easier to pretend that we were still best friends, and that she was my girl and I was her boy.
Pretending was better than knowing the truth...
I. Ruined. Us.
I had her.
I lost her.
I love her.
All I did was complicate us.

I loved, loved, loved Complicate Me. This one hits you right in the Feels! Darn you M. Robinson and your fantastic characters. I could not put this one down and I could not stop the tears from falling….both sad and happy.

Best Friends for Life. We’ve all said it, but who can actually claim they have those friends that have lasted a life time. These Good Ol’ Boys do and that includes their half pint. Sigh

Lucas was an ass. He was immature, seduced by peer pressure and well, to be honest, a typical teenage boy. It was emotional watching him learn from his mistakes and grow up, but eventually he did just that… Grew up.

Alex, half-pint, held out for Lucas for-ev-er! She pined over him and wished she could be his girl. That he could be hers. When she finally gets tired of not having anyone (double standard alert) while all the guys get to have that companionship, she meets Cole.

I’ll be honest; I was Team Lucas all the way. Even when he was being an idiot, I realized that he was just over ruled by peer pressure, hormones and his own fears. Cole weired me out and always made Alex seem like a conquest in stead of a person. Had she not been such a challenge, would he have gone for her? Lucas always cared for her. Her, Alex, not the “prize” of Alex, but the person….even if he had a messed up way of showing it.

If you haven’t read this, you must “one-click” this now. I cannot wait to hear about all the Good Ol’ Boys. Those are some hot, sexy men with some fun ahead.

Tainted Black ~ Shanora Williams

 photo Blurb_zpsdwi4gy3k.png

Dear Mr. Black,

I know you were hurting. I heard your cries. I wished over and over again that I could make it better, but as you stated I was too inexperienced; too good for someone as bad as you.

Perhaps you were right, but it didn't matter because what I did know was that I loved the way you felt--loved the way you smelled. I loved how hard you got for me, and when you called me your Little Knight.

I can still remember that day in the park, when you held me close and kissed me deep. How you effortlessly made me cry your name on top of sweet smelling grass, making me feel like the only girl in the world. I loved how you looked at me, how you spoke to me.
I had been madly in love with you ever since I was twelve years old, but I shouldn't have been.
Isabelle would have hated it--my best friend. I couldn't afford to lose her. Besides, you two had already lost enough. Losing Mrs. Black was the epitome.

It's Chloe Knight.

I wanted to be there for you no matter what, but Isabelle needed me too.

And she would have hated me if she ever found out I was sleeping with her father.

** Tainted Black is a forbidden love-story about a girl who helplessly falls for her best friend's father. After a tragic accident ends the life of Theo Black's wife, he turns to the one person he has always found interesting.

Chloe Knight, the girl from across the street, his daughter's best friend, and a person that is considered completely off limits for him. **

- WARNING: If you aren't a fan of taboo love stories, age gaps/differences, of if you're expecting a novel with that "unicorn and rainbows" type of feel, then this may not be the novel for you. But if you want to read about an alpha male with a tortured soul that rides a motorcycle and owns a boat named Dirty Black, then READ this! You may have just have found the right kind of love story for you! -

OMG!! There is so much I want to say about this book, so many memes I want to create and so many emotions that held me hostage while reading Tainted Black. This forbidden love story grips you right from the start. You know it’s wrong, but Chloe and Theo fit so right. I had a hard time reeling my emotions in for all the characters in this book. The twists, turns and heart wrenching scenes were almost too much, but that’s what makes this book so good.

 photo 702457_zpsmsk8n8x5.gif

The Blacks and Chloe’s family was more intertwined then I ever imagined. I was constantly on the edge of my seat and several times wanted to reach through my kindle to smack someone or hug them. Trixie was one of those people I wanted to throat punch. Not that I felt it was right that Theo and Chloe had to hide their affair, I was going to rip out Trixie’s hair for blackmailing them.

You could feel Chloe and Theo’s love for each other. Their chemistry was explosive and the sparks could be felt through my kindle. As much love as they had for each other, their love for Theo’s daughter, Izzy overcame it all. Get the tissues ready for that. I understand and get it, but my heart is still with Theo and Chloe. (Sorry, trying not to spoil too much if you haven’t read it yet…..because you need to)
