First I must say….Holy Hotness Batman! I knew Jackson was going to be scorching, but his and Skylar’s chemistry is off the charts! Wow. I could not get enough of these two and I love how all the sexy bastards made appearances in this story.

Jackson is calculated, head strong and determined. He plans everything out, even a checklist about what attributes his future wife should have. He doesn’t stray outside the lines and he is extremely focused on his job. That is until Skylar knocks him for a loop.

Skylar is smart, sassy and a complete wild card. She marches to the beat of her own drum and is not ready to settle or slow down. Commitment makes her run in the other direction due to her shattered heart. She just wants to live life and have a good time.

While Jackson and Skylar’s “relationship” starts out in an interesting place, they quickly realize they can’t get enough of each other. It’s exciting, thrilling and scary as hell. I didn’t know if they would spontaneously combust or sabotage their own budding relationship due to their fears. Skylar doesn’t fit in to Jackson’s mold of what his future wife would be and Jackson makes Skylar feels things she swore off after her last failed relationship.

Eve did a fantastic job with Jackson and Skylar’s characters. I wanted to reach in and smack them a couple times so they could get their heads on straight. The sexy bastards and their ladies brought Skylar into the fold, which was hard for Skylar to accept and it just shows what an amazing family these friends have become. I loved Jackson and Skylar’s story and cannot wait for the next Sexy Bastard!

I love me some sexy baseball players and Knox does not disappoint. As much as it sucked that Knox was traded, I’m actually happier that he ends up being a Brave….and so are his friends. It’s like a coming home for him and now he can spend more time with Shelby if he can find her again.

When Cooper Knox finds out who Shelby really is, man does that throw him for a loop! And Shelby, thinking that she won’t be seeing Knox again for a while, gets a big surprise when she realizes he will be very much around.

Shelby and Cooper’s chemistry is off the charts. Why they try to stay away from each other may look good on paper, but it doesn’t take long for them to say “consequences be damned!” Shelby is one awesome chick; smart, sexy and witty. How could Knox possibly stay away? The problem is if Jackson, Shelby’s older brother and Knox’s best friend, finds out.

I don’t want to give too much away, but I loved Shelby and Knox’s story. It also gives us a chance to see the other Sexy Bastards again and what’s going on with the whole gang. I need to know more about Jackson though. I hope his story is next (Hint Hint).

Shelby is alone. Her brother scares every, and I mean every guys off. Her most recent date left her hanging on New Year’s Eve. She is smart, beautiful and quick witted. She deserves some fun and Knox is her kind of fun.

Cooper is tired of the baseball groupies and wishes he could find someone who has no clue who he is. He needs someone who could care about him, for him. When he runs in to Shelby and introduces himself, she doesn’t fawn all over him like all the other women do. Don’t get me wrong, he is super sexy, but she’s able to bust his balls and they have a lot of fun together.

The night they spend together is hot and steamy. I was totally into it and then, bam! Book over! I want more NOW! I cannot wait to hear the rest of their story

Eve Jagger does it again!! She sucks me right in with two fun, sassy and super sexy characters. I love Cash and Savy!!

Cash is a notorious “love ‘em and leave ‘em” type, which is all well and good, because after Savannah’s last relationship, she’s just looking for a guy to help her broken heart. Their friendship and quick wit quicvkly escalate to something more. Cash and Savy’s sexual chemistry is HOT, HOT, HOT!!

When it gets to the point where the innuendo’s and flirty just doesn’t do it anymore, Savy takes matters in to her own hands and gets what she wants…Cash. What she wasn’t ready for, was to believe that his demons were not things he wanted to lie to her about, but things he was ashamed of. His relationship with his parents sucked and he was just getting back in to his sisters good graces. Throw in a little of Savannah’s past and you have one cluster of drama.

Oh but the makeup sex is so, so good!!

Ryder Cole  is one scary, sexy man. At first you’re not sure if he really is a “good guy” and he will probably tell you he isn’t, but the truth is, he is the best for Cassie. All his hard edges and walls come down for her and she just gets under his skin. His past and things that Cassie is hiding could create a wedge between them, but I really want these two together.

Cassie is a beautiful, smart and sassy woman who just returned home from England. You know something happened to her in England, but we are left to make our own assumptions until about half way through the story. When I learned of all she went through, I was frustrated that she didn’t tell Ryder up front, but totally understood why.

When Cassie’s ex comes in to the picture, it could destroy what Ryder and Cassie have been building. Ryder and Cassie’s attraction has been electric from the beginning. With Cassie’s past rearing its ugly head, you can’t help but root for Ryder and hope that he can understand why Cassie was so humiliated and afraid to tell him what really happens.

I really hope we get to see more of these two ::hint hint:: or even more from the other characters. This story had a different spin on the underground boxing ring, gambling and club scene. Yes, it was boy meets girl, falls for each other type formula, but it was also different. I was kept on my toes and definitely hot and bothered by their steamy sex-capades. Loved, Loved this book.
