Illicit (Sin City Outlaws Book 4) ~ M.N. Forgy

 Amazon US

I’m an animal, a member of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club that isn't capable of human compassion. So I’ve been told anyway.
Raven is my club’s prisoner. I’ve been ordered to break her. It should be easy given my violent history. But being this close to a woman—this woman—for the first time in a long time, is like sharing company with the demon Lilith herself.
She’s my perfect toy. Filled with a dark rage. Blessed with perfected beauty. Sinfully sweet and wickedly divine. Everything about her solicits the demons inside me
I want to hear her screams. I want those big, dark eyes looking up at me—silently begging me for mercy. I want to be her heaven…and her hell.
My desire for her is forbidden. My infatuation is illicit. I’m betraying my club.
And if the wage of my sin is death, then this woman is going to get me killed.

First looking at the cover, I thought, that man is HOT! Then to read Machete’s story, MN could not have picked a better cover model. He looks like I imagined Machete and there are times I have shied away from the cover of a book, because I like to keep an idea how a character looks in my own mind. But this cover nailed it.

Illicit is raw, gritty and at times, downright disturbing. Therefore, I really enjoyed it. Machete and Raven are both their own kind of “F”ed up, but you can’t help hoping they can heal each other. Right from the beginning you can see these two wanting each other, but know it’s forbidden. The lust shines in each of their eyes when the other is near, but they are not fooling any one. Some can see the way they look at each other.

Machete can’t have Raven because he would be betraying the Sin City outlaws. Raven can’t want Machete because she would betray Cross. The desire and “what ifs” kept me reading and hoping they gave in to their feelings. The guilt and pain these two felt from their own issues and desire for each other is palpable.

M.N did an excellent job writing these two characters and keeping me sucked in to the story. I really like this series from her and cannot wait for the next one.

What Might Kill Us (The Devil's Dust #5) ~ M.N. Forgy

Brotherhood is what Bull bleeds and all that he knows.
Being the king of The Devil’s Dust and surrounded by easy women was his everyday… until having his heart broke rooted him to the bottom of a whiskey bottle.
Heartbroken, and drowning in lost memories he’s unsure of the direction of his life, when the answer – consisting of a terrified Mexican girl- nearly knocks him off his feet.
Determined to get his act together and rectify his club, he rides to Texas for answers, only to be confronted with the emotional ghosts he isn’t ready to deal with.
He sees Anahi, and he wants her.
But she may come with more baggage than Bull is ready for.

Anahi used to be prim and proper. She used to wear dresses and keep up appearances to impress people she didn’t know. I guess you could say she was a fucking lady.
But that was when she lived in Mexico with her parents.
Before her uncle turned on her.
Before, the only man she ever loved, her step-brother, betrayed her.
Before she was forced to be a drug mule for the Cartel.
Evening gowns a lost memory, expensive heels traded for boots, and a nine millimeter in her hand instead of a limited edition purse. Anahi sets aside everything she’s ever known including the fairytale stories her mother told her about America.
She’s angry, determined, and looking for a way out.

When a new M.N Forgy books comes out, you just have to get it. Believe it or not, I was hooked on one of her other books before I even knew about the Devil’s Dust series. When I met her in West Virginia about a year ago and learned of these awesome biker books, I was super stoked! I love MC books and I love M.N.’s writing. Win/Win for me!

Bull and Anahi…Where do I start? Both were messed up from the beginning. Bull is drowning his sorrows in a bottle and Anahi is desperate to get out of the life, her uncle tells her, is in her blood. Both can’t trust each other, but both are drawn to each other more than they care to admit.

Bull loves Anahi’s spit fire attitude. She acts as if she has nothing to lose and in her mind she really doesn’t. At times she pushes the limits knowing she may pay the price, but at the same time, she doesn’t want to back down. She’s become a strong woman, with everything that was thrown at her.

Bull can’t get over the love he lost…even though, she really wasn’t his to begin with. He’s the president of the MC, but most now look at him with pity or sometimes hope that he will pull himself out of this drunken hole. Going to Texas to figure things out, puts him right in line with the newest woman to consume his thoughts and only after running in to her once.

I really liked Bull and Anahi’s story. It was gritty and suspenseful. It pulled me right in. The story flowed and I flew threw it. Another great one by M.N.

Love Tap ~ M.N. Forgy

All I ever wanted was to be a female fighter.
It was in my blood to smack people around.
Some girls wore pink dresses and makeup, I wore sneakers and bruises.
I was a loner, stuck to myself because I was different, until Camden Steel moved next door.
I punched him in the mouth, and he saw me through rose colored glasses from that day on.
I had everything I ever wanted.
The boy next door, inspiring career… until I didn’t.
He hates me. I deserve that.
They say you have to fight for what you want… What they don’t tell you… is it’ll cost you more than you're willing to give to reach the top.

I love a good kickass heroine and Tate does not disappoint. I loved her tomboy-ish ways and her take no shit attitude. She’s hard as nails, but her one soft spot is Camden Steel.

I mean, with a name like Camden Steel, how can he not be hot!? He was a sexy fighter and totally head over heels in love with Tate. But she broke his heart and he hates her for it. Actually, they both harbor some pretty hostile feelings toward each other; Camden feels Tate ran away from him and Tate feels Camden is a total dick.

That being said, their chemistry is explosive. You can feel the tension as each of them train and watch each other. Their love is still there, no matter how much each of them denies it. I just loved their sexual tension and their rough sexual antics. Super Hot!

M.N. Forgy rocked this female fighter story. The characters had their own demons to overcome and trust issues they had to surpass. I loved their personalities and uniqueness. Their story was well written and I couldn’t put it down.

Mercy (Sin City Outlaws Book 2) ~ M.N. Forgy

I’m an outlaw. I don’t fall in love and I sure as fuck don't run... Until Jillian McAdams.
I fell for a law abiding Sheriff, breaking my vows to my own club, and turning her against her family of blue.

An outlaw and a sheriff, it can only end in one way… Mayhem.

Now we both have to pay the ultimate price for betraying our families.
I swore to kill my brother, his allegiance sworn to another club, if I ever saw him again.
Yet here I am running to him in hopes to save Jillian’s life…
We both will have to rewrite the rules we know to stay alive.
Even if it means we lose everything we had in doing so…

WOW!! I love Zeek! Mercy was intense and I couldn’t put it down. As much of an asshole that Zeek was trained, conditioned to be, there’s a good man in there. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a criminal, but he loves Jillian and would do anything for her.

When they go on the run, I knew they were going to go to Lip for help. I wasn’t sure of his reaction and I wasn’t sure if Jillian was every going to move past her anger. Zeek was put in a tough spot, but did what he had to do to protect Jillian.

Their love and passion are intense. As much as they shouldn’t be together, that pull between them is too fierce to ignore. I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride and not knowing what to expect next. I wanted to finish the book because I wanted to know what happened, but I wanted it to keep going because I love these characters.

Reign (Sin City Outlaws #1) ~ M.N. Forgy

As the president of the Sin City Outlaw Motorcycle Club, I fuck as hard as I ride and rarely go to bed alone.

The women are fast and the violence is intense.

I excel in both.

People either respect me or fear me. I'm not arrogant. It’s just the truth.

I was a king, reigning over Vegas without complication, until one gorgeous sheriff made everything fall apart.

When I saw her, I became a Neanderthal, wanting nothing more than to be between those legs.

I guess that’s where I went wrong, because my reality was shot to hell real fucking fast.
One kiss caused her to step over that blue line.
One night in her bed made me a traitor.
And now… we’re both screwed.

Wow!! Just WOW! M.N. Forgy had me riveted from the first page. The concept of an Outlaw, the Prez of a MC falling for a Cop…No Way, right? Wrong! Zeek and Jillian’s chemistry is off the charts and when they stop fighting the pull they have on each other, they are explosive.

Zeek is a bad man…an amazingly sexy and hot bad man. He has done some questionable things to be Prez of the Sin City Outlaws and he is also trying to get out from under his uncle’s thumb. He struggles with his uncle trying to take over his club and gets stuck on Jillian all at the wrong time. While Zeek tries to protect Jillian, he ends up pulling her further in to his darkness.

Jillian is a smart, gung ho new cop in Sin City. She wants to do the right thing and follow the law to the letter. What she doesn’t realize is that many of the cops in the city are corrupted and on the Sin City Outlaw’s or the Casino’s payroll. While responding to a disturbance call, Jillian comes face to face with Zeek. She isn’t prepared for the attraction she feels, but she won’t stand down. She demands respect, even from the Prez of the MC.

"I would rather be on my feet standing guilty than on my knees begging for innocence." ~ Zeek

There were so many quotes I highlighted, so many things that sucked me in that I couldn’t put this down. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. I hope we don’t have to wait long for the next one!!

Relinquish ~ M.N. Forgy

 photo goodreads_zpsoy7n703h.png

 photo Synopsis_zpshy1vcpnk.png
In my world, there is no such thing as love. It is just a lie we whisper into our client’s ear. Love is foreign and hazardous. What I did not expect was to bare my soul to a man who is as egotistical as he is dangerous.

His name is Landon. Despite his blackened soul, he tried to save me, but what he didn't expect was my torturous fate to catch up with me.

To your father, I'm the escort.

To your mother, I'm the whore.
To the legal system, I'm the prostitute.
In the end, I'm just the other woman.

I have no idea if I will continue to survive, if I will ever find my path aside from the gritty streets I know so well. There is a good chance I will wind up in the ditch like most women in my position. Surrendering to my fate is the only choice I have. I must relinquish it all.

Relinquish was not what I expected….. In a good way! When the story starts with Charlie as a 9 year old, my heart literally broke for her. Then chapter one brings you up to the now, when Charlie is 18 and leaving her foster home. This foster home disgusts me and I cannot blame Jayden (Charlie’s only somewhat family) for wanting to leave with Charlie.

Charlie goes in search of a job after her life savings is stolen, while she slept on the bus to Vegas. The guy, who tries to help her get a job, ends up collecting on his favor and, at first Charlie makes herself believe that this is her “boyfriend” taking care of her, but in her sub conscience, knew she was selling herself.
Landon….. Wow. He is one gorgeous, sexy and damaged man. He now runs the Blackwell Estate, previous run by his father. After some run-ins with Charlie in front of a coffee shop, Landon ends up coming to her rescue, when her “boyfriend” tries to pawn her off on his friends. This is when Charlie comes to terms with what she was doing the entire time. After the attack and Landon’s saving, Landon takes Charlie for a drink, which leads to so much more.

Charlie and Landon’s attraction is one that they can’t ignore. It’s as if fate keeps throwing them in to each other’s path. The twists and turns of their story kept me on the edge of my seat and the mystery behind Landon’s father was a total curve ball. When Landon and Charlie can no longer deny their Love, these two go “All In.”
