CLOSE MY EYES… I refuse to. Every time I do, all I see is blood, death, and
pain. I can feel it - almost taste it, bringing me back to that night.
doesn't matter that I'm still breathing; I no longer need it, I no longer want
it. I despise it along with everything else around me.
thing I long for is to fucking fade away. I've given up. Until her at least…

little throat and fuck her until she feels my pain, feels the monster in me,
but also makes me want to protect her from the very thing that she should be
afraid of... me.
sees the damage that I’m capable of; she’ll look at me like everyone else

EYES... THE DARKNESS IN them draws me to him, making me want to taste him, feel
him… and save him. I shouldn't have gotten on the back of his motorcycle that
day. I know that now. Colton warned me. I was told it was dangerous. I was told
that nothing would be the same. He was right.
dangerous, dark, and seductive; the very thing that keeps me hanging on,

savage, inked, and highly captivating. So different from his brother…
hazardous to my health, mind, and body, yet the only thing that I crave. I want
to free him. I want to change his mind, but I'm afraid that he’s already too
So I have to admit, this was my first Victoria

loved Royal Savage!
Royal, bad ass with a big heart and traumatic past,
blows right in and steals your heart. He’s sexy scary in all the best ways, but
completely messed up in the head. He’s more romantic and emotional then he’ll
ever admit, constantly wanting to keep his walls up, but he can’t stay away
from Avalon. She’s sucked him in and she is all he thinks about. He wrestles
with his past and if he can move on with this beautiful, sexy, smart woman,
while letting go of what he had.
I love me a good, strong female character. Avalon
is tired of taking her boyfriend’s crap and kicks him to the curb. She’s doing
her now and dreaming about doing Royal too. She hates all the stereotypical bullshit,
so she’ll do whatever she can to defend Royal against his parents, his brother
or her boss. All of them think he’s a bad person for riding a motorcycle,
wearing tattoos, standing up for and defending himself. They said he was
destructive and dangerous, but once we find out the truth of what happened, I
believe Royal did what he had to do and I don’t blame him one bit…..Neither
does Avalon. She’s perfect for Royal and exactly what he needs.
"Hold on tight, Darlin', and don't fucking let go."
While Royal Savage had death, destruction and
drama, it also had love, hot sex and parts that hit you right in the feels.
Love this couple and would totally love to read more about them!
Five days a week, I dressed in smart business
clothes. I painted my face, and went to work as an accountant. But nothing
about my life was normal.
For eight years I had been the property of the

let me leave. My only glimmer of light was the man I loved. The man who had

Oh My God! Kingpin was one crazy, f*$ked up ride.
The story goes back and forth from where we left
Dornan and Mariana to eight years later. Mariana and Dornan are still in love,
but Dornan is still married and Mariana is still prisoner in her apartment.
John, the Prez of the Gypsy Brothers, suspects Mariana is a “prisoner,” but
Mariana will not give up any information, in the event it’s a test or could be
used against her or her family.
I can’t begin to describe the emotional roller
coaster I was on while reading this. Dornan and Mariana’s love is fierce and
raw, but she starts to have feelings for John that she’s not sure how to label.
John’s wife continues on her vicious cycle and it is now emotionally affecting
his daughter. Mariana has received a full time bodyguard, Guillermo, who has
now become like a brother to her all the while still working for Emilio, even
though her father’s debt was supposed to be paid years ago. And let’s not
forget to mention Murphy, who has continued to harass her.
Well all Murphy’s harassing has come to a head and he
starts to blackmail Mariana. While Dornan, John and Guillermo suspect something’s
going on, Mariana tries to hold it all in…..Until she can’t anymore and takes matters in to her own hands.

Jude’s a great man, who did whatever he could to support his

wait to get more of his and Shelby’s story. A Night with Knox is fun, witty and

The night they spend

Standalone within a series. New Adult Contemporary
Romance: Strong language and sexual content, not intended for readers under 18.
I absolutely loved Forbid Me! Dare I say, I loved
it more than Complicate Me?! I know you are all saying “for shame,” but I could
not get enough of Jacob! Yes, both are 5 star reviews to me, but Forbid Me
would be a 5++.
While Forbid Me can be read as a standalone, I’m
happy I read Complicate Me before hand. Major props to M for being able to reference
things that happened in Complicate Me, without taking up space in this story to
recap it all. It drives me crazy when authors do that just to stretch out a
book. M’s characters are well developed and her writing gets you sucked right
in to the story. I also completely love the now and then theme going on
thorough out the book. The fact that there was drama (the forbidden best friend’s
baby sister and 7 year age difference) it was not “in your face” craziness, which
made it more enjoyable for me. I didn’t have to hear about the details of them
sleeping with other people, which we know happens, but it wasn’t thrown in their
faces. That would have hurt my heart as I’m sure it would have theirs. Make sense?
While Jacob and Lily started off as young and
immature, we were able to see them grow up and feel their connection through
the pages. There were many emotional times where I wanted to smack some sense
in to those two. (Granted, not as much as Lucas and Alex though). As stubborn
as Lily was, I’m also proud of her for standing her ground and not jumping in
too soon. On the other hand, yes, Jacob screwed up, but he worked really hard
to earn her trust and love back. This could have been avoided had he told Lily
what happened those years ago, but his own personal hurt and embarrassment held
Lily’s connection to her mom gutted me. This was
something that hit really close to home for me. Watching someone you love
suffer and being completely helpless, trying to get in every last moment you
can and then still not being sure if you said all the things you wanted to say,
just… well it fucking blows. It eats away at you and couple that with the
struggles that she had with Jacob…no wonder Lily had her walls up.
That being said, I’m glad Jacob didn’t give up. Actually,
I was kind of cheering that he had to work hard since he gave Half-Pint and
Lucas such a hard time about their relationship. He didn’t run and didn’t let Lily
run, either. A certain “battery” scene comes to mind. :: giggle:: Once you read
the book, you’ll know what I’m talking about. I laughed, cried, made frustrated
noises and had to fan myself a couple times due to the hot sex scenes!! You can’t
help but fall in love with these two and you can’t help but itch for Dylan and
Aubrey’s story next. Well done M, well done.

something I expected. I was so ready to see what happened next, and then, boom,
