If they hurt her, they will regret the day they

Jagger was just AWESOME! I loved this book. Not
only do I get more of Miri and Jagger, there was some serious action and
adventure in this book.
I am so flipping proud of Miri. Not only did she
grow some major balls, but she was so freaking strong. She held on to hope,
when there were times I didn’t think there was a way she would get back to Jag.
She was motivating and inspiring and man, that woman never gave up!
If I didn’t love Jag before, I wouldn’t have had
a chance after this book! Holy Hell. Not only is he sexy, fierce and scary, but
he’s sweet, caring and absolutely in love with Miri. He worships the ground she
walks on and it eats him alive that he can’t find her or get to her. But he
never stops. His thirst for revenge is overwhelming and his love for Miri will
survive anything…even possibly death.
I can’t say enough about Jagger. The suspense,
the action, the dark places Heather took us too. I absolutely loved it!
I'm good in a
boardroom, but I’m better in the bedroom. Much better. I can charm the skirt
off any woman in one encounter. I'll even give her an orgasm before I put her
in a cab. Or three. No more or she’ll start making plans for the future and I'm
not into that.
Or I wasn’t until Genevieve Fasbender. She's the
first woman in five years that I want to spend the whole night with. And she's
the first woman who’s told me I'm not what she wants in a lover, even after
multiple O’s. She’s brash and bold and stubborn as hell, and she doesn’t
believe it’s possible to satisfy her.
But I’m up for the challenge.
And after an incident in my brother’s office
closet―a downright dirty incident―I think I’m just the guy to deliver.
Genevieve Fasbender will never know what’s coming.
I really enjoyed meeting the younger Pierce. He
was a bit of a playboy, no repeats, no sleep overs, but that’s because he’s
prone to fall in love. He is definitely a giver and his reputation precedes
him. This playboy persona he has created
has made it difficult for others to see how smart and creative Chandler really
is. He is constantly battling to come out from his brother, Hudon’s shadow as
well. When meeting Genevive, he is instantly attracted and enthralled with her.
As they get to know each other, he sees that Genny has similar obstacles to
overcome and maybe, just maybe they can help each other.
Genevive is smart and beautiful, yet her father
can’t seem to get past that she is a woman and doesn’t seem interested in any
of her ideas. In her mind, getting in to bed with Chandler Pierce would be
sticking it to her father. She can’t get Chandler out of her head as hard as
she may try, but he is a complete distraction from the career she has worked so
hard for. She can’t do this, not now.
Some of the Pierce enemies return and things are
definitely not all they seem to be. There are misunderstandings, deception,
trust issues and a lot of yummy, dominate sex scenes. Talk about a fun roller
coaster ride of emotions! Chandler was really well written and kept me wanting
to know what would happen next!
You probably just answered the question in your
head thinking it's an easy decision.
For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of
money? A hell of a lot.
I needed to go far away to think it through.
As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour
when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated
Then, he left.
I thought I'd never see him again.
But fate had other plans.
Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.
The bigger surprise was the adventure that
followed after the plane landed.
Carter was dangerous and always on the move.
Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it
was only temporary.
He would give me tickets, and I would follow him
around the world to exotic places.
A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about
Carter's reputation were never far behind.
I didn't know what to believe.
But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore.
And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to
finally ground the playboy pilot.
At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.
I really liked this
collaboration by Penelope and Vi. When these two write a book together, it’s
definitely an instant one-click.
While Carter is your
typical playboy, we can see early on he is searching for something. What that
something is, he’s not too sure yet, but he’s having his fun while he can. That
normally doesn’t bother him, except now he’s spilled his drink on an
interesting beauty that he doesn’t know how to handle. A few suggestions in the
airport and boom, she’s on his flight!
Kendall is in an odd
predicament. She’s trying to decide if money is more important than her
happiness. But there are other factors involved that I don’t want to spoil for
anyone, so I’ll just say it sucks. While she’s flying around the world with
Carter, there are some interesting….uh….situations that happen that both crack
me up and make me panic. While stuck with this predicament, Kendall acted
somewhat immature at times, which was explained by her silver spoon, sheltered childhood.
At times I was frustrated with her actions, but in the end, she grew up. They
both grew up.
Overall, I really
liked this book. It was funny, sexy, hot, and emotional. I loved Carter as the
sweet, in love pilot, but felt bad for his old playboy ways. I loved Kendall’s
spirit, but at the same time was frustrated by some of her decisions. Kendall
was the only one to see a certain side of Carter, because most only saw him as
the gorgeous pilot, but her was so much more. I loved that about their love
story. It was special.
I'm a heroin addict. A junkie. A whore. I'll do anything to
get my next fix.
Including walking right onto the property of Austin's most ruthless and feared
drug lord to beg for some H. I don't know his name, only that people call him

But like I said, I'll do anything to get my next fix. Even if it costs me my
Or changes it forever.
I’m a huge
Heather C. Leigh fan, so when I saw that she was writing a dark romance (one of
my fav, if not my fav type) I jumped at the chance. Junkie is gritty, raw,
dark, sexy and suspenseful. To say you need to read this in an understatement.
Miri is the
junkie. She will do anything for her next fix and I mean anything. There are
some disgusting things that she is forced to do and it just shows the pull the
H has on her. But she wasn’t always like this. When she is somewhat “normal”
after her does is injected, we see the little spit fire she used to be. I loved
her firey attitude, but it bothered me to see how much self loathing there was.
I definitely think Heather nails the up and downs when it comes to addiction.
Miri is all over the place at times and we see a glimpse of the struggles that addicts
have. Her poor excuse for a boyfriend (term I use very loosely here) offers her
a place to crash after she runs into some hard times and gets her addicted. He
uses her and now her level of self deprecation is so high, she thinks every
person wants to use her; that’s she is nothing or nobody. Boss man is actually
the first person to look at her like she is worth something in a long, long
Boss, or Boss
man, is a ruthless and scary drug lord. He’s hard core and doesn’t take shit
from anyone. That is until Miri stumbles her way on to his property looking for
a score. She reminds him of those he let down in his past. She’s become weak
and someone that everyone takes advantage of. While he can she what a beautiful
woman she once was, Boss is disgusted by the dirt and grime she has accumulated
from this addiction. He can either kill her or help her. She could become his biggest
weakness or he could use her to help his cause to stay at the top of the drug
I love the dynamic between the two characters.
Boss is sexy, strong and a complete bad ass. How could there not be sparks!?!
Their sexual tension is off the charts, but
at first Miri doesn’t realize it because she is so down on herself. Granted,
there have been a few things said by Boss that has made her think this way as
well, but it was out of context and not the way he meant them to be heard. Boss’s
inner monologues definitely give us a bigger insight to why he is the way he is
and what his true feelings for Miri are.
Boss doesn’t love
himself either. He still beats himself up for the past he has had and the H he
continues to deal. While making a ton of money, this is also the drug that destroyed
his family’s lives. His mood swings, his internal battles, all stem from those
he could help and from the strong feelings he has for Miri, which he tries to
Boss’s right hand
man, Milo, drives me crazy. I think there was a couple times I wanted to staple
his mouth shut because he is a disrespectful ass. He needs to remember his
place in the organization and leave Miri alone.
angst, sexual tension and dark path that these two are taking together had me
devouring their story. I couldn’t get enough. To be honest, I stalked Heather
to see when we would get the next book, Jagger. So excited to read the rest of
this dark duet!
Sorry, ladies—and fellas—Hollywood’s hottest
action star, Ace Locke, is officially off the market!
The man on Locke’s arm has been identified as
Dylan Prescott, the sexy new “it” model currently featured in the latest Calvin
Klein ads. Sources tell TNZ the men met on the set of Locke’s upcoming action
film Insurrection 2, and that “they only have eyes for each other.” This is the first public gay relationship for
Locke, who came out a year ago, and there has been much speculation on who
would finally be the one to catch his eye.
According to multiple eyewitnesses, Locke whisked
Prescott away on his private jet for a romantic weekend at Syn, the most
exclusive hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. After pictures recently surfaced of the
new couple, affectionately named PresLocke, it appears from the possessive way
Locke keeps his new beau close that things are heating up.
The world is watching #PresLocke, and we’ll be
sure to keep you up to date on this budding relationship!
There are a few authors that I squeal with
joy when they have a new release coming out (pun intended). Ella and Brooke are
two of those ladies.
Dylan and Ace….I just love these boys,
well men really. The love they have for each other is felt through every page.
When there’s drama and believe me, there is DRAMA, you can still feel how much
these two love each other. With the twists that come their way and certain
secrets getting out, it’s hard to think how two people could make it through.
Mix that in with all the fame and notoriety that is Ace Locke, and it’s almost
like a recipe for disaster.
There are certain characters in this book
that could use a couple slaps across the face. In an effort not to divulge and
spoilers, I will just say, these people should just stay away. I want to go all
mama bear and beat these people with a stick and try to have them realize what
wonderful men Dylan and Ace are and that their relationship is real. It cannot
be bought, sold or diminished. I guess it goes to show that these characters
don’t know what real love or a true relationship is, so they try to break down
a happy one. ::Gets off soap box::
After reading the book 1 in the PreLocke
Series, I was having serious withdrawals, especially after that cliffy.
Needless to say, when Locked was about to be released I was ecstatic. There
were super-hot and steamy sex scenes, along with super sweet and romantic scenes
tied in. I loved it. The ladies did not disappoint with the continuation of
Dylan and Ace.
Living in a world where I was worth more dead than
alive was a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I’ve
done things I’m not proud of. Seen things that can’t be unseen. I’ve caused
pain that I can’t undo.
It was all my choice.
Right and wrong never mattered.
She was under my protection, until she became my
But who was going to save her...

Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.
Everything I thought Alejandro Martinez would be was completely exceeded. M did
an amazing job with this character and his story. I never wanted it to end!
Lexi and El Diablo 4-eva!
Martinez is an asshole. He’s cruel, mean, a murderer and a criminal. And I just
could not help falling for him. Beneath his tough, strong and scary exterior,
he’s a man that loves his family with his whole heart. The things he does for
his family, while not always resulting the way he wanted, were all done with
good intentions….or as revenge, justice and retribution.
had a terrible beginning. She could only remember a few good things about her
mother and we are left wondering, for a while, what made her that way. How
could a mother not go on for their child?? Lexi is a beautiful person with big
dreams that any parent would be proud of, yet her mother could not pull herself
out of her depression. It consumed her. In the end, I think it’s one of the
things Lexi ended up hating about her. That and then leaving her with her step-father.
right then and there I would have to to break my promise to her. I would have
forgiven my mother for anything….. But I would never forgive her for this.”
coming together of these two is raw, gritty and, well, just HOT! There were
several times I needed a cold shower to break through the lust induced haze
that Martinez and Lexi created. Their age difference excited me and I loved
that M pushed this boundary. Lexi was made for Alejandro, despite their age
difference. I could feel their connection though my kindle.
Alejandro would push her away, just to go back to get her, gave me whiplash.
One minute he was hot and then cold. I
understand why, now, but he kept breaking my heart when he would break Lexi’s. I
wanted to smack him, but I had to trust him just like Lexi did. El Diablo is
one sexy, powerful and extremely smart man. He had a purpose and a plan for
everything. We just had to trust in him.
loved this book! The playlist completely compliments Martinez and Lexi’s story.
It’s a must while reading. El Diablo is my favorite of M. Robinson’s work. It
was raw, gritty, angsty (yes I just made that word up) and powerful!
