Corrupted (Deathstalkers MC) ~ Alexis Noelle

She is being hunted.
Prey left defenseless.
She needs to hide.
They cannot find her.
They will kill her if they do.

When Lucy decided to run, she didn’t know where to go. They were coming for her. She needed protection, but she had no one to help her. Until she came across the warehouse of the Deathstalkers MC and begged them for protection. Now she owes them her life and her loyalty. Her family will never end their search for her; she is a piece of property that needs to be recovered at any cost necessary. For Lucy, there are worse things than needing to hide for the rest of her life, being found is one of those things.
Sometimes the obvious evils aren’t the ones you need to fear.

Corrupted is definitely not for the faint at heart. If you like a raw, gritty read with a total alpha, then Corrupted is the book for you.

Lucy is a runaway, a desperate runaway, looking for anywhere to go except for where she has called home for 14 years of her life. When Jordan stumbles upon her, he can’t help but want to protect her. Jordan, only being a prospect at the time, gets placed on babysitting duties (with a demand to keep his hands off) until Lucy turns 18. This would be the longest 4 years of Jordan’s life.

"Loved you for years, Sweets. Just had to wait 'til I was allowed to."
~Jordan

Lucy’s “family” situation is completely f*$&ed up!! When she tells Jordan her background and story, he vows to always protect her. It broke my heart what Lucy went through and what she continued to go through. Lucy starts to grow up right in front of the MC’s eyes and if Jordan see’s any of the other brothers’ eyes on her, he’s not going to ever get patched in. Because Lucy is HIS!  But let’s be real, he is also HERS!

Until We Collide ~ Charlotte Fallowfield

What do you do when the guy you’re in love with is seeing someone else?

That’s the dilemma facing Paige Taylor. All of her life she’s only ever had eyes for the gorgeous Alec Wright, but despite their undeniable chemistry, their timing has always been off. Fast approaching her thirtieth birthday, Paige despairs of ever finding love and a happy ever after. Her best friend Poppie tells her that she can either watch life pass her by, or grab it with both hands. She convinces Paige to throw herself back into the dating pool, or she could be waiting for Alec forever.

What Paige didn’t expect was the catalogue of dating disasters to follow. A neck brace, jelly fish, stitches, flashing and an encounter with a gorilla were some of the most memorable. Despite some downright hilarious, humiliating and cringe worthy dates, her biological clock is ticking and Paige is determined to keep trying until she finds the one.

Was Alec Wright always her Mr. Right, or is he still out there waiting to be found?

Join Paige in her quest to find the ultimate prize. Love.

I Loved “Until We Collide!” While this was a RomCom, make no mistake, there were situations, conversations and scenes that hit me right in the feels. I was rooting for Alec and Paige the whole time, but every time they would cross paths and it “not be the right time,” I started to think maybe they weren’t meant to be together. Each time that happened, it broke my heart for them a little more.

From the moment they met, you could tell they had intense feeling for each other. Even through cow spray (you’ll have to read to know what I’m referring to), you could tell they liked each other, but they were so young. Even though Paige was pining for Alec the whole time, I knew he had to have liked her, despite dating someone else.

Through each disastrous date and boyfriend fail, I couldn’t help but crack up laughing, but then my heart would crack a little more that Paige couldn’t find happiness. No one could hold a candle to Alec. And when Alec would come around, you could tell he wanted Paige so bad, but he was a good guy and committed to whatever girlfriend or job he was doing. It still made me scream at my kindle that the two needed to get together already, but I digress.

When the time came that both Alec and Paige made the choice to move on, I had tears in my eyes. Paige is such a beautiful, sweet, funny, often clumsy, but funny person, she deserved happiness. If she had to be alone to achieve that she would and she would wish Alec the best. I’m not going to tell you what happens, but know you will be cracking up at all the adventures Paige goes thorough trying to find her happiness.

Hopeless Vows ~ Rachael Duncan

It was a modern take on an arranged marriage that was supposed to lead to my happily ever after. The rules were simple:

1. Marry a complete stranger chosen for you by professionals.
2. Live together as man and wife for eight weeks while cameras record your every move.
3. Make a decision to stay together or get a divorce.

Call me crazy, but I had complete faith in the process, until I saw who was waiting for me at the end of the aisle.

Austin James has never met me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know him. With no other choice, I say my vows and pray I can make it through the next eight weeks. Then I’ll leave. What connects us is my best kept secret, and I’ll protect it at all costs even if that means walking away from the only person I’ve ever cared about.

I absolutely loved Hopeless Vows!! Bravo Rachael Duncan!! She was able to take this fast growing concept of reality TV and enter a new twist…. “First Comes Marriage.” Such a different concept and great idea!

I had insta-love for Austin and Jillian. They are such a sweet couple and diving in to a social experiment like this could not have been easy. I mean, there is so much angst that goes in to planning a wedding anyway, imagine not know who you were marrying! Crazy, I know, but these two pulled it off and their chemistry could be felt instantly. Even though Austin was all in from the on-set, it took Jillian some time to let her guard down. Most women do not meet a man like Austin in their lifetime, so for Jillian to be paired with him…..Jackpot!!!

Through their own secrets and insecurities, which every couple has, they were able to grow strong. That is until this explosive twist comes into play (Darn you Rachael!!!), along with some nasty people that I still want to punch in the throat. I was a mess and had to close the door to my office to finish reading to find out what happens. (Sorry, work, but I was sucked in and needed to cry in peace.) Completely hit me in the feels!!

Undo Me (The Good Ol' Boys #3) ~ M. Robinson

I fell in love with her when I was seventeen.

She brought me to my knees when I was twenty.
I loved her against reason.
I loved her against hope.
I loved her against all odds.
Now she's back, a constant reminder of what I lost, what could have been.
I hate her.
I resent her.
I still love her.
Can I forgive her...
Will she be my end once again or my beginning?

I cannot begin to describe the roller coaster I was just on. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. The overwhelming love that Aubrey and Dylan had…..I just can’t get over all they went though. Their story gutted me.

I have completely fallen for Dylan-Fucking-McGraw. Yes, I know he is a fictional character, but I don’t care. I wish there were more men in the world like him. Yes, he’s an asshole, but he’s Aubrey’s asshole. But he’s also so much more. He’s a good man. A real man. One that I wish didn’t get his heart broken over and over and over again.

I was so angry for them. I was hurt for Aubrey and felt for her and Dylan, but anger coursed through my veins. All I wanted Aubrey to do was fight, get help, and see what she had in front of her. But she couldn’t…and for good reason. I get that and I can’t even imagine what she went through, but I just wanted so much for them. Dylan and Aubrey deserved a good life, because they were amazing people. It just breaks my heart that their chance was taken away. In a blink of an eye, everything changed.

I am so emotionally spent and exhausted. I felt like I went through all their turmoil and pain with them. M. Robinson did an amazing job of making you feel like you were a part of these character’s lives. To be inside their heads, know their feelings, their hurt and their pain. Dylan and Aubrey’s story is amazing. Make no mistake, its gut wrenching, but it is still amazing. Dylan has become my favorite Good ‘Ol Boy and has stolen mine and many other reader’s hearts. I thought I knew what to expect, but I really had no idea.

"You make life, Aubrey, it doesn't make you." ~Dylan

Noah's Journey (Sawyer Brothers Series Book 3) ~ C.A. Harms

The years that were taken can never be repaid.

The memories stolen can never be returned.

But I had to move forward…for him, my son.

Noah had spent years wondering what he could have done differently. Wondering what he’d done wrong to make Stacey leave. The heartache from her absence and the what-ifs of their past eventually turned to anger—and then disgust.

It took years for him to move on, and once he did, his past came thundering back, revealing a secret.

A secret that would forever change his future.

Alena had waited for the chance to have more with Noah. He was an enigma, a man of mystery, yet she wasn’t quite ready to give up on him. She knew there was more to him than what he allowed those around him to see. She was drawn to his charm and his calm nature. With an uprooted past of her own, she craved a little stability more than anything. But when things between them finally begin to grow into more, their relationship is tested.

Will it all be too much for Alena to handle?

Or will she decide to stay and be a part of…Noah’s Journey?

I love me some Sawyer Brothers and Noah is no exception! When I see a C.A. Harms book being released, I don’t even have to read the blurb anymore. I know it’s going to be good.

Even though this was Noah and Alena’s story, I need to make something clear… Stacy needs a smack down and once you all read this story, you’ll understand why.

Noah and Alena had come so far and just started trying to have a relationship. Where it was going, no one knew yet, but they were going to explore it. Then, Wham! Noah finds out that he has a son. Not only that, but he missed out on some years with him. While developing a relationship with him, Alena’s insecurities come back full force and she often finds herself questioning everything. Luckily they have friends that don’t give up on them and brothers who will put each other in their place, if need be.

While there were some bumps in the road, Noah made it very clear that he wanted Alena and only Alena. It’s just up to Alena if she can get past her fears and jump in 100%. This was definitely an emotional read for me. Noah and Alena’s chemistry sizzled, but there were times I wanted to throw my kindle. All in all, I really enjoyed their story and cannot wait for the new Sawyer Brother’s book to come out!! EEEEKKKK!!!

Legend (The REAL series Book 6) ~ Katy Evans

Maverick “the Avenger” Cage wants to rise to the top and become a legend in the ring. Though he keeps his identity well guarded, he's known on the fighting circuit as the new kid with a chip on his shoulder and a tattoo on his back that marks him as trouble. He's got a personal score to settle with the Underground's one and only Remington "Riptide" Tate.

As Mav trains, he meets a young girl—the only other new person in the town--and sparks fly. When things get heated between them, he finds out she's none other than Reese Dumas, the cousin of Remington Tate’s wife. A girl who's supposed to root against him and a girl he's supposed to stay away from.

But Maverick fights for the woman in his heart, and the monsters in his blood. The world’s eyes are on them and the victor will go down in history as the ultimate fighting champion; the ultimate LEGEND.

When I read this, all I could feel was pride. I was proud of Maverick, Reese, Oz, and of course Remy. As much as this was Mavericks and Reese’s story, Remy played an integral part, which just further solidified my love for him.

I absolutely, unequivocally loved this book. The characters were complex and had their own issues, but it didn’t stop them from speaking their minds. I feel in love with Reese and Maverick probably just as quickly as they fell for each other. Nothing in life is perfect and whole both had demons in their past, they were both able to support and love each other as they are. They were cast aside, placed in the friend zone and ostracized, but they found and understood each other. They were made for each other and with each battle (mentally, physically, emotionally) that they went through, it further confirmed, they were “with” each other.

The adrenaline before the fights, I felt. The love between Reese and Maverick, Remy and Brooke, all of their love for Racer, it just hit me right in the feels. What an inspirational and powerful story. I cannot say enough great things about Legend. It is definitely just that…..a Legend.
