Why I'm Yours ~ C.A. Harms and S. Moose

A point in time, an unexpected event, changes everything.

Reagan’s life was about to begin. A recent college graduate with her career about to launch, she was living in Boston with her best friends. She had everything she worked hard for until one man took it all away, leaving her feeling empty and desolate.

After spending a few years alone, Reagan finally moves to Chicago with her best friend, Aimee, and vows to put her past behind her. When Reagan lands a job at Powers Financial, she never expects to find the one person that would give her back the girl she left behind years ago.

Drew Powers loves being the powerful CFO of a successful corporation and raising his son, Dawson. He's known as "asshat" at the company and it doesn't help calm his temper or patience. Drew's main focus doesn't include love or commitment. Those are the last things on his mind.

When the reserved and beautiful Reagan Halloway bumps into him and tests his patience, he ignores the lust he feels for her until she becomes all he can think about.

Fate is a powerful thing. A force that leads two people to one another and gives them both the one thing they didn’t know they were missing.

I did enjoyed this collaboration with these two authors, but there were times where it became apparent that there were two different people writing. The story line and ideas were a good concept and I did like the characters.

Reagan is a stronger person than she gave herself credit for. I wish she would have leaned on those that loved her, but I get that she had to find her way again. Drew was loving and supportive. When he found out what happened to Reagan, his protective side really shows. You can't help but love that.

There was a twist at the end that I wasn't sure these two would get through. Definitely some major drama. Relationships are tested and surprises unfold that makes you want to know what happens. Even with a little cliffy, I'm sure the next will be able to be read as a standalone as well.

Bossman ~ Vi Keeland

The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn't exactly make a good impression.

I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date.

He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice.

So I told him to mind his own damn businesshis own tall, gorgeous, full-of-himself damn businessand went back to my miserable date.

When he walked by my table, he smirked, and I watched his arrogant, sexy ass walk back to his date.

I couldn't help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.

When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out.

But instead, he pretended we knew each other and joined ustelling elaborate, embarrassing stories about our fake childhood.

My date suddenly went from boring to bizarrely exciting.

When it was over and we parted ways, I thought about him more than I would ever admit, even though I knew I'd never see him again.

I mean, what were the chances I'd run into him again in a city with eight million people? Then again...

What were the chances a month later he'd wind up being my new sexy boss?

Bossman was super sexy and fun. I loved all the stories that Chase came up with, from their first meeting at the restaurant. These characters are funny, witty and smart. And of course HOT!

Reese is the smart, sexy and witty heroine that doesn’t have the best track record with men. After meeting Chase at the restaurant and their impromptu double date, she tries to move on and find someone to really settle with. Unfortunately, she can’t get Chase out of her mind. There may have been some certain stalker tendencies in here that made me giggle as well.

Chase is super hot and a GENIUS! Owning and running his own company, he ends up helping Reese connect with a recruiter, which helps her find a new job. What Chase doesn’t realize is the woman he’s been thinking of for month’s turns up for an interview….at his company! He’s trying to resist and he has a tragedy in his past, that he’s trying to get over, but he just can’t stay away from Reese.

I love Vi’s writing. I was sucked in to this book right away and couldn’t put it down. Their chemistry was sizzling and I had to fan myself a couple times with my kindle to cool down. Loved it.

Tiger Shark ~ LP Lovell

London’s square mile is witness to a revolution, a new breed of business woman. They call us tiger sharks.

We out-earn, out-work and out-play our male counterparts. We work the system, play the game and most importantly, we win. In a city full of sharks only the most ruthless make it to the top of the pool.

The number one rule: never sleep with the boss. Ever. I had no intention of breaking it until I met my new boss. No matter how strong my resolve, Landon Banks can smell weakness like a shark smells blood in the water, and I’m bleeding.

The hunter becomes the hunted, lines start to blur, and I have a choice to make. Screw or be screwed. Of course, I never was much good at taking it like a bitch. Landon Banks will be learning to grab his ankles if I have anything to do with it.

Things are about to get interesting in the game of predator versus predator. Who will come out on top?

Strong, independent woman meets sexy, overbearing, annoying boss, but with her rules, there’s no was that Georgia will sleep with Landon, right?

Landon is hot! Period. End Of. And to add to it, he’s wicked smart and a great businessman. Immediately, he gain’s Georgia’s respect, but almost as fast, he completely pisses her off. He unsettles her and not most people do.

I love Georgia’s fierce independence and go-getter attitude, but she has made so many rules for herself that she comes off a ridged to Landon. He know she puts on a façade when dealing with clients or men that hit on her, but he just wants to see the real her. She’s beautiful, smart and feisty. But can he own her like he wants to?

LP wrote a great story with Landon and Georgia. Their chemistry was off the charts and the little twits she put in kept me on my toes. Really enjoyed it.
