Wow!! Just WOW! M.N. Forgy had me riveted from
the first page. The concept of an Outlaw, the Prez of a MC falling for a Cop…No
Way, right? Wrong! Zeek and Jillian’s chemistry is off the charts and when they
stop fighting the pull they have on each other, they are explosive.
Zeek is a bad man…an amazingly sexy and hot bad
man. He has done some questionable things to be Prez of the Sin City Outlaws and he is also trying to get out from under his uncle’s thumb. He struggles with his uncle
trying to take over his club and gets stuck on Jillian all at the wrong time.
While Zeek tries to protect Jillian, he ends up pulling her further in to his
Jillian is a smart, gung ho new cop in Sin City.
She wants to do the right thing and follow the law to the letter. What she
doesn’t realize is that many of the cops in the city are corrupted and on
the Sin City Outlaw’s or the Casino’s payroll. While responding to a disturbance
call, Jillian comes face to face with Zeek. She isn’t prepared for the
attraction she feels, but she won’t stand down. She demands respect, even from
the Prez of the MC. "I would rather be on my feet standing guilty than on my knees begging for innocence." ~ Zeek
There were so many quotes I highlighted, so many
things that sucked me in that I couldn’t put this down. I cannot wait for the
next book in the series. I hope we don’t have to wait long for the next one!!
"He's an outcast.
A rebel--with blood on his hands. But maybe I can save us both..."
Lennox knows he's a dead man walking. He's done
his time and paid for his crimes, but the crew never forgets.
Elena Drazic was raised with grease under her
nails. She's no stranger to the ride or die mentality. So when Lennox arrives
back in town after an accident that tore her crew apart, she knows nothing good
can come from his freedom.
But she can't forget how he makes her feel. And
when she's with him, she can't remember why she's supposed to stay away.
This is a great debut
novel for Dallas Cole. I was intrigued by the blurb, I mean a girl who can fix
up cars and a boy who’s a” dead man walking”…. I had to know what happened.
Elena has been in love
with Lennox since she was a kid. She would be around him at the shop and he
would be her shoulder to cry on. Lennox was her constant, until tragedy struck
them and destroyed the only family she had left, their crew.
Lennox messed up. He
did something unforgivable and paid the price for it. Being in jail for three
years, barely sleeping because you have to be sure you’re not going to be
killed in your sleep, can change a person. But, Lennox didn’t change. While in
jail, he still tried to do the right thing. (Which he also used to do, which
made what happened in that accident so much harder for Elena to understand) He
stood up for a jail mate and that forged a bonded, a favor, that he had to call
upon when he got out of jail. Maybe not the best idea, considering who the
family was who he had to ask for help, but no one else would give him the time
of day, except Elena.
Elena rocks. She’s
beautiful, smart and can build some kick a$$ race cars. While she’s in a
relationship with Nash when we meet her, we quickly learn that he’s not her
true love. She tries to take care of Nash and work on their relationship when
Lennox gets out of jail, but Nash quickly blows any chance he may have had with
her. Nash is consumed by the tragedy that struck their team 3 years ago and completely
casts Elena and her feelings aside. She is trying to find her own way, her own
path and it seems Lennox is the only one that supports her in that desire.
Elena and Lennox are
meant for each other and I rooted for them the whole book. It was a really
good, quick read. I couldn’t put it down, especially during the plot twists and
when certain people’s true colors show. Even through all the drama and chaos
around them, Elena and Lennox are able to stay true to themselves and each
other. You will have to read to see if they are able to end up together. No
All sins are equal in the eyes of God, but I'm not
God. One sinner made me his sin, and I can't let men like him live. I want to
kill them. Every. Last. One.
Ezra James is no different. I was going to kill
him, but then I found myself obsessed and possessed in the most reverent of
ways. I became his sinner, and he became my sin, but the wages of sin is death,
so I must kill him.
The son of a whore, raised by criminals, molded to
fit into a world without morals. I've never given a shit about anything until
the night I watched a man drop dead at the feet of my little killer. She called
to my depravity, and everything in me demanded that I take her, possess her,
own her. Some monsters hide behind the faces of angels.
Damned. Broken. Irredeemable.
Through blood, absolution shall be found.
**Warning: This book
is very dark and twisted…..And I loved every moment of it**
I love it when the
main characters of the story are both f*#$ed up and it’s not one trying to save
the other from their demons. Evie and Ezra both have their own demons and their
demons seem to be in love with each other. They feed off each other and cause
wonderful suspense and drama.
From the moment I
started this book, my jaw was on the floor. Evie and Ezra’s relationship is eccentric,
to say the least. He loves to beat her and cause her pain and Evie relishes in
it. She needs it to absolve her of her sins….murder. But she feels the people’s
lives she ends are bad and they deserve to die. She lures these men who cheat
on their wives or pay for prostitutes and kills them. When she starts falling
for Ezra, her murderous ways change to gain his attention and at times are
spurred on by jealousy. She begs for his punishment and her absolution.
Ezra can’t help
but be excited by his little killer’s jealousy, but demands she understand that
he will deal out his punishment when and as he sees fit. Ezra can’t get Evie
out of his head and while he says he can’t love, we watch him fall for her. He
realizes he would do anything for her and when Evie’s past rears its ugly head,
he does just that. Ezra is definitely not your typical book boyfriend, but he
is a f&*@ed up version of one.
This story is
dark, twisted and erotic. Who knew bloodshed, murder and suspense could be
written so well to label it as…..well….HOT?!? LP and Stevie “killed” it and
rocked Evie and Ezra’s story!
My name is Logan Steele. I’m devilishly handsome, seriously
ripped, well hung, charismatic and highly sexed. Women just can’t resist me. So
when I lost my job in the construction industry and was struggling for cash, I
decided to put my assets to good use.
By day I’m a private personal
fitness trainer. By night I’m a high class escort. Logan Steele, licensed to
advertise my sexual services anymore, I have a long client list that come to me
through word of mouth. I’m that good, I’m booked months in advance. Scores of
women pay me extortionately high fees to fulfil their fantasies. And for the
most part I do. I have a strict set of rules that I abide by, which are
provided in the full contract that you’ll receive along with the booking form,
if accepted. Just so we’re clear, my absolute number one rule, is full payment
up front, which is non-refundable. No exception. There is no requirement for a
refund clause, I never fail to perform.
you’re aware of my rules for the night and are about to email me to book your
fantasy, all that remains to be asked is,“Who do you want me to be?”
Will Logan continue in his
profession, or is there a woman out there for him, one that can fulfil all of
his own fantasies?
as a complete box set, this is a massive saving of over 50% compared to
purchasing the individual books, and it also contains some exclusive bonus
trivia about the series. It includes:
for the Night
for the Night
for the Night
for the Night
for the Night
for the Night
Thank goodness I read these within the box
set. They were so good; I just wanted to read one after the other. I was sucked
right in with Strangers in the Night and could not get enough of Logan Steele.
Logan is not just a sex symbol; he’s also
a smart business man. He knows all the tricks some of his clients try to play
on him and turns it around on them. His skills in the bedroom are known through
the female community, so that’s why one of his clients tries to tie him to her.
He realizes this early on and ends up flipping the script on her. Unfortunately,
as the stories move on, she resurfaces and threatens all he’s built, professionally
Summer Beresford is a beautiful up and coming
actress. She doesn’t appear until Virgin for the Night, but she is my favorite….and
she ends up being someone Logan can’t forget. She’s beautiful, smart and
innocent. She knows what she wants and prepares herself for her one night with
Logan. Even though she prepared for one night, she couldn’t prepare herself for
the connection she feels with Logan and she thinks he feels it too. She is my
favorite of all the women in Logan’s stories….Yes there are other women, which
I was not happy with, but it’s his job and allows him to realize what he really
wants and needs.
When other circumstances occur to bring
Logan and Summer back together, Logan is completely stubborn and thinks that he
can carry a relationship while still being a escort. After Summer makes her
request, he freaks out about possibly leaving the business. This is all he’s
known and he’s not sure if he can do everything else. Even though we see him as
a smart man, he doesn’t see himself that way. He’s left feeling insecure, which
is a feeling he doesn’t face often, if at all.
This collection of Logan Steele’s story
is something everyone should read. The super hot sex scenes and emotional angst
of Logan’s story keep you wanting more. I love C.J.’s writing. Her words pull
you right in and they make you fall in love with the characters. *Sigh* We Love
