I absolutely love this series!! I love the post-apocalyptic
feel with spark of revolution in the sectors. I would totally want to be an O’Kane
if I was living in the sectors.
Hawk and Jeni sizzle in this book. You can feel
the sexual tension rolling off of them and while Jeni seems to be the aggressor
in the relationship, we learn early on that Hawk wants more than casual.
Based on his upbringing in sector 6, Hawk is not
used to the O’Kane way with sharing women and casual sex. He wants Jeni all for
his own and it is super-hot when he lets go. Jeni doesn’t realize how long or how
much Hawk has been thinking, no dreaming about her, until he offers ownership.
Not only does he want to own her, but he wants Jeni to own him.
I love Kit Rocha’s writing, but I am totally
bummed that we are getting close to the end of this series. That being said, I
am super excited for the spin-offs because I love the O’Kane family and cannot wait
to see what happens in this War with Eden! O’Kane for Life!
